Job Description:
As a Validation and Verification Engineer at TheraSonic, you will be responsible for verification and validation activities as well as metrology and software qualification activities in accordance with current regulatory requirements for Medical Devices. You will also be responsible for developing test benches, defining test environments, and identifying the necessary hardware and software tools for testing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing test plans and test cases ensuring their traceability with system specifications.
- Designing, developing, and validating test automation tools and, if necessary, any other tools required for system validation.
- Executing and documenting all tests performed, whether automated or not.
- Tracking issues.
- Regularly communicating with project teams.
- Participating in the drafting of real-time software system specifications.
- Controlling and ensuring metrology (including monitoring and measuring equipment).
- Designing technical test benches to perform formal tests or feasibility tests.
Required Profile:
- Engineering degree in mechanics, electronics, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in complex systems validation.
- At least 3 years of experience in general/embedded software testing.
- Basic knowledge in user interface validation.
- Excellent understanding and practical knowledge of metrology activities.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Docklight.
- Knowledge of medical device software standard #62304.
- Comfortable with professional English, both written and spoken.
- Qualities required to work in a startup environment: technical expertise, communication and teamwork skills, ability to adapt to rapid changes, and design innovative solutions while respecting safety requirements.
